Plainfeld.<\/strong> Was war das bitte f\u00fcr ein unfassbarer erster Festivaltag am Electric Love 2019? Strahlender Sonnenschein den ganzen Tag lang, fette Beats von FELICE, AFROJACK, TIESTO and many more und eine imposante Pyroshow der Extraklasse \u2013 aber von Anfang an.<\/p>\n

Der Tag beginnt f\u00fcr uns nach einer viel zu kurzen Nacht im Hotel in Fuschl. Nach einem ebenso kurzen Fr\u00fchst\u00fcck stehen drei Stunden Bildbearbeitung, Datensicherung und redaktionelles Schreiben am Programm, danach geht\u2019s nach einem kurzen Zwischenstopp in der Drogerie (man merke: Vergiss niemals deine Ohropax, wenn du auf einem Festival unterwegs bist!) erreichen wir p\u00fcnktlich zur \u00d6ffnung des Kerngel\u00e4ndes um 16:00 Uhr den Parkplatz.<\/p>\n

Bereits von weitem dr\u00f6hnt uns laute Musik entgegen, die aber nicht von einer der insgesamt acht B\u00fchnen zu sein scheint. Nach genauerem Umsehen kommen wir relativ schnell auf des R\u00e4tsels L\u00f6sung: ELF-Partner KRONEHIT l\u00e4sst sich dieses Wochenende nicht lumpen und hat kurzerhand einen DJ auf einen umgebauten Pick-up gesetzt und diesen Richtung Camping S\u00fcd geschickt. Im Schlepptau bringt dieser eine Karawane, angef\u00fchrt von leicht bekleideten T\u00e4nzerinnen, Feuerschluckern, Akrobaten und jede Menge voll motivierte Lovers, zur\u00fcck.<\/p>\n

Tolle Bilder f\u00fcr uns, doch wir lassen den Tross erst einmal passieren und beobachten derweil eine sehr interessante Situation beim Security-Checkpoint, als ein Mitarbeiter einem Camper eine Schaufel abnimmt und ihn daraufhin fragt, was er denn bitte mit einer Schaufel am Gel\u00e4nde vorgehabt h\u00e4tte. \u201eDie brauche ich zum anbaggern\u201c, lautet die kurze emotionslose Antwort, aha\u2026<\/p>\n

Nach einer kurzen Backstage-Tour f\u00fcr unsere Facebook-Story (check it out) steht sie endlich vor uns: die Mainstage. 80 Tonnen Material, 750 elektronische Elemente, haushohe Boxent\u00fcrme, CO2-Kanonen, Pyroplattformen, es gehen einem fast die Superlative aus, um dieses Monster zu beschreiben. Passend dazu bringt eine Flugstaffel der FLYING BULLS just in diesem Moment den Himmel \u00fcber dem Gel\u00e4nde zum krachen \u2013 was f\u00fcr ein Spektakel?!<\/p>\n

Auch heute erstmals offen: der HEINEKEN Starclub. Ein halber Open-Air-Club, dessen Besonderheit dieses Jahr das DJ-Pult mitten in der Menge ist. Auch hier haben sich schon einige Besucher eingefunden, allerdings ist auch ihnen eine gewisse Anspannung anzumerken \u2013 alle warten auf den einen Moment.<\/p>\n

P\u00fcnktlich um 21:00 Uhr, Electric-Love-Resident FELICE gibt gerade seine Songs zum Besten, haben wir, nach einem anstrengenden 10-min\u00fctigen Kampf durch die Menschenmenge, umgeben von 25.000 Leuten mit perfekter, zentraler Sicht auf die Mainstage,<\/span> unseren Fotospot erreicht. Das Opening kann beginnen!<\/p>\n

Nach einer Dreiviertelstunde langen Wartens, Kampfes um die eigene Position und Schutz des Equipments beginnt es endlich: das OPENING – und es sollte gr\u00f6\u00dfer denn je werden! Einem Gospelchor, Stra\u00dfenmusikern aus ganz Europa, LED-T\u00e4nzern, einem Klaviersolo von Felice und jeder Menge Neuinterpretationen bekannter EDM-Songs folgt ein gigantisches Feuerwerk gepaart mit Lasern, 15 Meter hohen Flammen und reichlich CO2 \u2013 die Zuschauer lieben es.<\/p>\n

Nachdem sich alle wieder relativ (Betonung auf relativ!) beruhigt haben, geht es weiter. AFROJACK, DIPLO und DJ SNAKE bringen die Menge zum Kochen, uns allerdings nicht aus der Ruhe, weil wir uns inzwischen ins Pressezentrum zur\u00fcckgezogen haben, um die knapp 1000 Fotos des heutigen Tages zu sortieren und zu bearbeiten. Schluss ist erst gen 01:00 Uhr, als uns die Pressehostessen freundlich aber bestimmt zum Gehen auffordern \u2013 das Pressezentrum schlie\u00dft.<\/p>\n

Ein exzellenter Grund, um wieder zur Mainstage zu pilgern und Altmeister TIESTO, ein Meister seines Faches, bei der Arbeit zuzusehen. Gegen 02:00 Uhr, nach einem erneuten Feuerwerk, ist dann Schluss auf der Mainstage und w\u00e4hrend sich die verbliebenen Zuschauer in den komplett vollen Club Circus quetschen, treten wir, ersch\u00f6pft von einem langen Arbeitstag, die Heimreise an \u2013 cu tomorrow Electric Lovers.<\/p>\n
