Man definiert sich sozusagen &#8222;geistige&#8220; Variablen, wie zum Beispiel Gegenst\u00e4nde in einem Raum, die dann mit verschiedenen Inhalten verkn\u00fcpft werden. Als Alternative zum Raum ginge auch noch ein bekannter Weg, wie den t\u00e4glichen Schul- oder Arbeitsweg. Der Ort der zum Verkn\u00fcpfen gew\u00e4hlt wird,  muss eine ausreichende Anzahl an Details aufweisen, damit gen\u00fcgend Ankerpunkte als Variablen vorhanden sind. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Der mutma\u00dfliche Ursprung der Technik geht auf die alten Griechen zur\u00fcck, als Wissenschaftler, aufgrund der mangelnden Verf\u00fcgbarkeit von B\u00fcchern, noch den Gro\u00dfteil ihres Wissen auswendig lernen mussten.
