Sein Name ist Alex und urspr\u00fcnglich kommt er aus \u00d6sterreich. W\u00e4hrend seines Studiums in Salzburg lernte er eine finnische Austauschstudentin kennen und zog nach dem Ende seines Studiums mit ihr nach Finnland. Von seinen Erfahrungen erz\u00e4hlte er uns in einem kurzen Interview.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>F\u00fcr uns ziemlich ungewohnt &#8211; in Finnland ganz normal. Sowohl im Arbeitsleben als auch in der Schule sind grunds\u00e4tzlich alle per Du und sprechen einander beim Vornamen an. Auch Sch\u00fcler ihre Lehrer. Das ist vermutlich einer der Gr\u00fcnde f\u00fcr das Gute Arbeitsklima und hohe Zufriedenheit in Finnland. Innerhalb der Unternehmen herrscht gro\u00dfes Vertrauen und der gesamte Ablauf ist weniger hierarchisch als bei uns. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Auch das Schulsystem ist ganz anders, n\u00e4mlich um einiges flexibler als in \u00d6sterreich. Nach Abschluss der Pflichtschule trifft kann der Sch\u00fcler eine Entscheidung treffen, in welchen Ausbildungsschwerpunkt er sich spezialisieren m\u00f6chte. Je nach Schwerpunkt wird dann \u00fcberpr\u00fcft, welche Kompetenzen der Sch\u00fcler bereits hat und welche er noch lernen muss.  Ob er sich dieses K\u00f6nnen selbst in seiner Freizeit angeeignet oder es in der Schule gelernt hat, ist dabei egal. F\u00fcr jeden ist also der Lehrplan vollkommen individuell, nur am Ende k\u00f6nnen m\u00fcssen alle das gleiche. Deshalb kommt es oft vor, dass eine Ausbildung f\u00fcr manche nur 2 Jahre und f\u00fcr andere 4 Jahre dauert. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Uns interessierte, wie Alex die Umstellung von einem Leben als \u00f6sterreichischer Student zu einem Leben als Arbeitnehmer in Finnland gelungen ist. Da Finnland ein sehr internationales Land ist, spricht dort so gut wie jeder gut Englisch. Aus diesem Grund fiel es ihm nicht schwer sich mit den Menschen dort zu verst\u00e4ndigen und sogar einen Job an einer FH zu bekommen und dort zu unterrichten. Finnisch spricht er noch immer nicht, daf\u00fcr aber die zweite offizielle Sprache, Schwedisch. Auch die Schule, an der er Unterrichtet, das Berufsinstitut Prakticum (www.prakticum.fi), hat Schwedisch als offizielle Unterrichtssprache. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Alex erz\u00e4hlte uns auch, dass \u00d6sterreich bei den Finnen ziemlich positiv angesehen ist. Die Kulturen unterscheiden sich nicht zu stark und \u00d6sterreich ist ein beliebtes Urlaubsziel, vor allem im Winter f\u00fcr den Skiurlaub. Auch Schwedisch zu lernen, f\u00e4llt uns \u00d6sterreichern nicht so schwer, da sich die Sprachen in einigen Hinsichten ziemlich \u00e4hneln.
